Kimlai Yingling, the founder of EatinAsion invited Gary to share some of his business “Tips & Tricks”…check it out and learn a thing or two from Gary’s 23 years of experience as a serial entrepreneur.
Our award winning, gluten free& less sodium soy sauce has grown organically to have an amazing fan base, but let’s face it, Little Soya wouldn’t be so popular if it weren’t for a brilliant mind leading her. This isn’t Gary’s first rodeo folks and he’s even willing to share with us his structured ideologies that have brought him success.
Here is a scoop you don’t want to forget to eat! Thank you to EatinAsian.com!

“7.5 Steps, Gary Murphy style!”
Our CEO, Gary T. Murphy was invited to lecture this week at the Bauer School of Business, to the Wolff Entrepreneurial School. Gary’s presentation, entitled, “Into the Mind of a Serial Entrepreneur” – was primarily on business “Tips & Tricks” he has learned over the past 23 years as an entrepreneur in Houston. But he also was able to reveal that while he has had massive success, he also has had many failures over the years. And only because of these failures, has he been able to achieve and triumph – as he said, “Success is About Failing”. A fun and informative part for the class was Gary’s “7.5 Steps I’ve Taken”- here he detailed some of the steps he has taken for Little Soya to achieve the success we have received. The Wolff Entrepreneurial School was recently chosen by the Princeton Review as the #1 entrepreneurship school in the US.

HEB will be rolling Little Soya out on the shelf in 262 of their stores starting in October.
It’s been more than a year in the making, but you will soon be able to find Little Soya “on the shelf” in 262 HEB stores across the state of Texas!
Back when Little Soya first launched in grocery stores last year in July, we had a small roster of only three HEBs. But after a short time we gained traction and started adding new HEB stores left and right. Over the past year, Little Soya was launched in more than 100 HEB locations near the sushi or in the seafood department all over Texas. HEB management and corporate offices are truly committed to helping establish our product in their stores.
We have to give a “special thanks” to one of their Store Director’s located on Bunker Hill and I-10 in Houston, Mr. Sean Gresch. Sean was the very first manager at HEB to truly believe in Little Soya and gave us the boost we needed. Sean took our idea to their Unit Director, Mr. John May. John has been very supportive of us since the beginning, and has become a mentor of sorts to our CEO, Gary Murphy. We can’t thank John enough for his time, efforts and mentoring of Little Soya!
Now, the big news is, starting next month, you will be able to find us in the grocery department [on the international] and coming soon to their, gluten-free foods aisles.
HEB is the fifth-largest grocery retailer in the country with 320 store and sales of more than $15.5 billion, and was ranked as the 12th-largest privately held company by Forbes magazine. That’s a lot of clout! Not only that, HEB is known as one of the top 4 “trend setters” in the entire US amongst grocery stores. We feel proud and privileged to be in their stores.
As Little Soya continues to grow, we know we could never be where we are today without everything HEB has done for us throughout the past year. So, to our friends at HEB we just can’t thank you enough for everything!
Virgin America began serving Little Soya on all first-class flights on July 1.
Now boarding Virgin America airlines … Little Soya gluten-free, premium soy sauce.
We at Little Soya are happy to announce that we have added the mighty commercial airline to our client roster. Virgin America, ranked No. 1 among domestic airlines in Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards, began serving our gluten-free, low-sodium and non-GMO soy sauce on all of the carrier’s first-class flights in the United States starting July 1.
“We’re extremely excited to have landed such a marquee account,” Little Soya founder and CEO Gary T. Murphy said. “This is my life’s work, so I’m very proud to be able to say that Little Soya is now the exclusive gluten-free soy sauce of such a prestigious airline.”
Crystal Lee, Vice President of Global Accounts, agreed adding that it only makes sense for one of the nation’s premier airlines to seek out super premium products to serve their passengers.
“It was so amazing to see how supportive Virgin America was of our product,” Lee said. “They were searching for a healthier and better tasting soy sauce, so they chose Little Soya.”
It's impossible to not fall in love with Little Soya once you try it!
We like to think our soy sauce is the best around, but it really means a lot to hear it from you! Check out this awesome review for Little Soya written by one of our newest fans!
